Description:
Crataegi er en af de fotografisk nydeligste sommerfugle, og så er den tilmed stor og tilnærmelig; i varme egne af Europa har den endda den "dejlige" vane at sidde og drikke ved vandpytter i længere tid af gange. I denne pyt sad et par hundrede; her et lille udsnit med to drikkende, og en der lægger an til landing.

It was made easy by the presence of around hundred specimens in the same puddle. But I had to disturb them a little to make them fly and settle again giving me the opportunity to take the "landing-shots".
